Will everyone grow the **** up?? who cares if people love Twilight? i'm 26 and love them, and it doesn't mean I haven't read other "classic" books. Some of my favorites are Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights. 90% of People bitching about Twilight haven't even read it, they just make a lot of noise because it's a "cool" thing to hate. They are fun, exciting books. Personally, I can't stand Harry Potter and think the books and movies are incredibly dull, but I don't go around posting how the franchise is shit. If you loved the other movies so much, you should have voted. You obviously didn't care enough to vote like Twihards did, so get over it!! Or better yet, instead of bitching about Twilight you can go out and write your own best-selling novel.

I agree with you. Most of them probably never read the books. The few that gave it a chance, though, have the right to dislike it. I just wish people would stop comparing it to Harry Potter. They're completely different stories, written by completely different authors. Just because they're both popular, doesn't mean they should be compared. I love both Twilight and Harry Potter, but I wouldn't dream of comparing the two. That's like comparing an apple and an onion. They're too different for one to be better than the other. People need to grow up, and accept the fact that them hating something isn't gonna make it disappear. If anything, it will only give it more publicity.
