YDI, you clearly wanted a car because you're lazy! Get walkin' fatty.
Honestly, that is a great present
Its better then nothing and it shows they are concerned about your health. Maybe next year you'll get the car.
... normally, I'd sympathize. But seriously, you expected a car? 'Expected' a CAR? I'm 23, and the most expensive thing I've ever gotten given to me in my life is a computer. Which I paid for half of... and even that was a surprise. I was appropriately grateful and shocked. Spoiled kids like you disgust me; rather than letting people hand you everything on a silver platter, why don't you get up, walk over, and earn it! Maybe you'll lose some weight in the process.
Thry should of got you a bike.
Don't be a selfish bastard... No one gets cars for their 16th birthday.
I can't believe how spoiled some kids are...my parents would never just buy me a car. You must be one of those rich kids who get everything. Where I live, you can only have a Learner's permit at 16 so having a car at this age is somewhat useless to me

Well I don't have a car, OR membership to a gym, and I'm eighteen. I'd be happy with either.
You shouldnt have expected them to give you a car. Youd be pretty lucky if you got a car and its not as if your parents are obliged to give their 16 year old a car. Take the gym membership. Be grateful
