are you fat
Ok, all these people are SO STUPID. I know so many people who got a car on their 16th birthdays. It's not even funny how many people get that. So OBVIOUSLY they're jealous/angry for some reason. I understand a gym membership is offensive but I'm sure they meant it in a caring way. Like if sometimes you say "I feel so fat" or "I wish I was more toned"... Then they'd think GYM MEMBERSHIP as a perfect gift. My mom randomly decided to get me a gym membership, I weigh 103, but I want to be TONED and gain weight so it was NICE of her to get me that. I could take it as "you think I'm scrawny" but instead I think of it as something caring. Don't be so down! The gym is really fun and I'm sure you'll meet/talk to a lot of cool people.
No, people are outraged at how cheeky OP is to be expecting something as big as a car for their birthday. I, for one, am far from jealous. I'm actually glad that my parents don't molly-coddle me to the point of paying for a car when I should be out there earning money and getting life experience in the process. I doubt any of these people are jealous. They're just pissed off at how bratty some people are.
Yeah buddy harden up. The gym is fucken awesome, try and enjoy it and soon you won't even give a shit about that car.
I'm 16. I hope for a car and i work my *** off to get one and soon when i collect enough money, I will. in my last 16 birthday my parent gave me nothing. not because we are poor or anything like that they just bought pizza and we ate that's it. And you know what? i don't WINE about it like a WHINY PIG so i didnt got what I was hoping for, big deal. P.S gym is great spatially if you are an overweight person like i was long time ago.
ur a spoiled brat i hope when u do get a car u have to pay for it yourself and u crash it so ur insurance is through the roof **** you
hahahaha @ 130, now THATS an fml
I got a car on my 16th birthday and I still think this person is a spoiled wanker for expecting one.
I can't believe you were expecting a car. And Hell, I'd be happy for the gym membership. I have to pay for those and they're expensive as hell. That's a good gift, though it is a little depressing to think that your parents think you're fat. Anyways, don't complain man...
my sixteenth birthday I got a pat on the back. then I stole my parents booze got so drunk I couldn't remember going to my friends and had to shovel gravel the next day for 8 hours
On my 16th birthday, I didn't expect anything, and got a video game. Spent the rest of the day getting ignored by my brother and his fiancee. So stfu.

Well I don't have a car, OR membership to a gym, and I'm eighteen. I'd be happy with either.
You shouldnt have expected them to give you a car. Youd be pretty lucky if you got a car and its not as if your parents are obliged to give their 16 year old a car. Take the gym membership. Be grateful
