Good.
Why the hell do all 16 year-olds think they're entitled to a car because they're 16? You'd probably ruin in a crash before you're 18 anyway. God damn. I do agree the whole weight thing was unnecessary on your birthday, even if you're not overweight but your parents like to tell you you are, but that's not what your complaining about. At least they got you something. Also, #149, a lot of kids are fat because of the way they were raised. I know it's crazy, but you do learn your parents eating habits and such, since they are raising you, so if they pass their bad habits on to you, you just might be fat. There is a point where you should realize it though, and however hard it may be, change your ways and get in shape. It's not an easy process though. So no, to an extent, not every fat person deserves it. And hell, it's a lot easier to put on weight than to take it off.
YDI, your parents are only looking out for you, they want you to be fit and healthy, so don't let their present go to waste. stop being a spoiled brat, my parents don't give me anything on my birthdays other than a 50-100 dollar bill (I'm 17)
Although a car seems better in options, I'd rather go with the gym membership. You should learn that you have to live with what you have. You're lucky that your parents are the one paying for it, not you.
stop eating chips fatty the gym is good for you
#157, being raised with bad eating habits may give someone an unfair pre-condition, I'll give you that, but ultimately it's his/her own choice whether or not to get up at 3 AM and eat that bowl of ice cream. Take me for example: both my parents are over-weight, have bad eating habits, and I'm still nowhere near fat. Anyway, that is clearly not the case here - the parents are buying her a gym membership, lol. :P

Well I don't have a car, OR membership to a gym, and I'm eighteen. I'd be happy with either.
You shouldnt have expected them to give you a car. Youd be pretty lucky if you got a car and its not as if your parents are obliged to give their 16 year old a car. Take the gym membership. Be grateful
