Been there. A lot of guys who are new to being in a physical relationship or haven't been in one in a while need to get used to the stimulation coming from another person before they can relax and get off from hand jobs or blow jobs. Try not to take it too personally.

I my experience the problem might come from him. Assuming the guy isn't a dick (pun intended) he might just have a hard time letting go, I know it can seem wierd but not finishing fast enough can be a problem. You shouldn't blame yourself or even him it might have nothing to do with sexual "skills", sex is much more complex than that.

It's not necessarily indicative of your abilities. Some guys, myself included, have a hard time climaxing from oral or digital stimulation (at least by a second party, in the latter case). I for one have never managed it. Next time, if he's taking a while, try sticking a finger in his ass. I hear that can help. Lol.

I've never been able to make my boyfriend (of almost 3 years) finish just by oral. he's circumcised and has very limited sensation besides a few certain areas. So, most likely it's not your fault and nothing some communication can't fix :)
