Today, we had a hike at my camp. We hiked in a line. I suddenly felt things hitting me at the back of the head. After a few minutes I finally turn around, only to discover a bunch of older guys throwing tampons at my head. They were my tampons, falling one by one out of my unzipped bag. FML

Duh, they were hiking to a CAMP. And yeah, some girls are heavy bleeders. When I was at school I used to wear a super heavy tampon along with a pad designed for night-time use, and I had to change them both every hour or I'd leave patches of blood on the seat. Women bleed, get over it.

uh, women need to change tampons like at least every 4 hours, and most women bleed for like 5 or 6 days. so yeah, she'd need to take loads with her.

umm, not entirely true. you're supposed to change them at least every 8 hours, but sometimes i go 9. ;)

If you wait for 8 to 9 hours that makes bacteria build up and that's not good. In addition, you should always use the lowest absorbency tampon necessary for the amount of menstrual flow you are experiencing on each day of your period. Using super-absorbency tampons on the lightest day of your period potentially puts you at risk for TSS. Those most at risk for TSS include women under thirty, particularly teenage girls. To the FML...yeah guys are very immature most of the time, some make a big deal about the stupidest and insignificant things.

That's why I just put mine in a sock, that way they stay together and no one can tell what they are when they are when it falls out or when they are being nosy and rooting through my bag. My vote is that when they go to sleep sneak into their cabin and then you steal all of their socks, boxers and their left shoes, throw them into the lake, that way it's not obvious right off the bat but when they get up it's all "Dude, what the hell?" And they will be disoriented n'stuff and they will be irritated for the rest of summer camp! MU-HAHAHA

try to laugh about what happened. don't worry about it to much. try to make jokes about it because this shows people that your not worried about what happened and then they will forget about it. you just have to make them feel pathetic for laughing about something so stupid and immature.
