Today, we had a speaking assessment in Spanish class. When it was my turn, I yawned in the middle of a sentence, said "excuse me" and finished my sentence. She took points off because I hesitated and I spoke in English, not Spanish. FML

I don't usually use my grammar nazi powers on FML, but this is one of my pet peeves. It's *should have* or *should've* NEVER *should of*

Always speak in the language. I once won a district competition in Spanish because I was saying "no lo se" (I don't know) to all of the questions the judges were throwing me. My speech was about where I had traveled. They assumed I didn't know where I had stayed, how long I was there for, who I was with etc. but was still responding in Spanish so technically I got full marks. Truthfully I didn't understand a word they said...

Most Spanish teachers are bitches. It's the norm.
