Maybe you should have paid attention?
YDI for trying to move to this terrible country. I want to move to Canada.
I'm sure OP has their reasons for wanting to move to the US. I'm also sure OP doesn't give two ***** what you think.
Move to Somalia or Greece if you think this is a "terrible country." And don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.
You need a passport to enter the us regardless of your country of Origin or method of entry.
Always have a copy of your passport with your parents or at another safe location.
You can't get a copy of a passport......
You're supposed to separate things you don't want them to take! Being a military spouse, I've moved a lot, never had a problem!
Are the movers driving? Why don't you just drive also and refund the tickets? Yeah extra effort but damn. OR buy more tickets and get the others refunded etc....
It's you're responsibility. Shoulda grabbed it
Awe how cute BABY BUMP!!!

Just explain to your significant other that they must go on their own, unpack and arrange all your stuff, finding your passport in the process and send it back so you can join them after all the unpacking is done. Good plan by the way. The "without my knowledge" part gives it a realistic spin.
Speaking for Canada, I guess we can keep you for a little while longer.
