Today, when my doctor told me I had symptoms of an STD, I had to repeatedly try to convince her I'm a 28-year-old virgin. Even as I left she still didn't believe me. FML

Ain't no shame in being a virgin. That's such a good thing to hear these days

27 is okay. When you're 40, that's when they start making movies about your life.

I am 15 and still have not had my first boyfriend or first kiss. I doubt people verbally make fun you for that, in school I am a freak for not dating someone or wanting too.

Something like that happened to me. I was 17 and I got some test results that came back positive to an STD and I had to tell the doctors that I was a virgin and they treated me as if I were a lying *****. I took another test that was supposed to be more accurate and, effectively, the firsts results were false positive. :/

Well you know you are so get a second opinion.

How does an arguement about an STD, turn into one about religion? Everyone, just calm down. Not one of you has wished OP to get better soon, all you have done is criticise everyone for having sex at what age. Guess what? It's natural and people's choice! Get over yourself!

Lmao I meant was her not washer!

OP, you do NOT deserve to be judged and treated this way by a so called "professional. Complain about their behaviour to the medical practice and ask for a second opinion. That doctor was out of line!!

I got a UTI when I was 16 and when I went to the doctor he asked if I was sexually active. I told him no and he made it pretty clear that he thought I was lying to him. There's a hundred other ways you can get a UTI, so I don't know why he automatically assumed it was from sex.
