By drug testing - 09/05/2013 22:22 - United States - Little Chute

Today, while answering an "anonymous" survey about how to keep my school drug free, I told them they should stop drug testing the kids that they know don't do drugs and test the sketchier ones. They in turn drug tested me. FML

I know quite a few kids that do drugs that don't look sketchy at all. How would they be able to tell for sure if someone did drugs without testing them first?

I don't look sketchy and I smoke treefers... But I agree with #1. That shouldn't be allowed in schools. Maybe at alternative schools that are for the bad kids.. But not general public schools. Private schools probably have some rights to though.. Just an assumption. What kind of school do you go to???

you should call your school district "anonymous" and ask them a survey about prostitutes and send them a few that way. then call the cops "anonymous" and get your school busted for prostitution. that will be even.

Drugs are the worst thing ever. I'll happily piss in a cup if it means that others don't lose their kids to drugs. You wouldn't be complaining if they were taking measures to prevent murder, yet when someone becomes a junky you lose them as surely as if they were dead.

People became junkies to things besides drugs. Look up addiction. It does includes things that are not drugs. There are physical addictions and psychological addictions. Some big drugs are actually more psychological in the way a person is a addict. My friend was addicted to self injury. She would go into a state akin to physical withdrawal. If the mind thinks you need something to survive, then you will have a hard time quitting and will be being doing something harmful to your body and mind. Anything in excess is bad for you, not just drugs.

Random drug tests at schools? What's next? Mandatory probation for all students? Our rights are being infringed; we can not allow this to proceed any further.

Maybe you look sketchy because you try too hard to be cool. In my High School, 70% of the students smoked pot, and alot of them were the kids on the high honor roll, the football team, in general the people who had the good social lives and that had the respect of the community. Pot wasn't ruining their lives, infact the guy who graduated 4th in the class was a daily smoker. Stay the **** out of everyone else's business, and don't try and be a goody two shoes to your school because it never works. I got interrogated by my deans because the secretary put the wrong parking sticker on file for me, even though I never had to visit the deans before all the way up to my senior year. tl;dr; the kids who don't look sketchy often smoke pot, and actually have social acceptance. GTFO.
