Actually, the word **** comes from misogynistic origins. It’s a word invented to demean women and ****-shaming is used to control and shame all women regardless of their sex life. Being unfaithful is the problem.

I don't know about the "regardless of their sex life" bit, the word **** directly refers to a particular sort of sex life. The misogynistic origins part is right though, it originally referred to a woman who courted many men for the gifts and sexual attention and then left them once she got what she wanted. When men did the same in search of the opposite sex (without the services of a prostitute) they were called a lecher.
