Pretty sure the kid with the BB gun will get into more trouble than you... A lot more trouble. Plus, how come it hurt so much? I mean it's only a bob pellet... Were you bear footed or something???
Ok... why was there a BB gun in school...
Some asshole snuck it in.
American schools in a nutshell.
Why on earth did you tell 'as loud as possible'? If it was for attention then YDI
Idk where you live OP but in the US guns in school is heavily not tolerated. In schools you can't even bring a toy gun! idk if this was here in the Us, but your school should've went into lockdown the moment that kid brought the BB gun in
If you live in the US you can report him to the school resource officer (SRO) he most likely will end up in a lot of trouble, or he could get expelled.
At some times you don't snitch. But this would have been a good time to snitch
If you're at a public in the us they can't do a thing against you because they have to respect the right of freedom of speech.
incorrect
Ok clearly there's the issue of why did a kid just have a BB gun in school and receive no (known) consequences, but I'd like to stray from the obvious and ask why he even brought it in the first place.. Like he just woke up one morning, saw his BB gun and thought "That kids foot isn't gonna know what hit it"
Yelling is a reflex but WHAT you yell is a learned response. The word or sound is just a habit. For example Americans say ouch but in Japan you say itai! (Short for itaidesu- it hurts) So you do control what you yell or if you make any sound at all. You can easily teach yourself to deal with pain silently by internalizing it. Or with just a small grunt or groan . (Severely abused people, special forces soldiers and early native Americans ... ) If everyone is honest cussing is a habit the more you do it it gets harder to stop until you're cussing all the time. But what you say IS a choice. The teacher should have just said "watch your language young man" and bb boy get in serious trouble! What happened to zero tolerance? I have to admit sometimes Cursing is just more satisfying . :)
Somehow I think you would do the same thing as the teacher. Given that, you know, you completely missed the point of the FML for the first 3/4ths of your comment. OP's swearing wasn't the big issue here, the GUN on school property was.
Wrong. I was commenting on/to the comments people were making. That's why I threw the last bit in to make sure no one thought I didnt understand the larger and obvious point. I was sharing an interesting fact and supporting the side that were saying yes he could have moderated his outburst. I would have done exactly what I suggested the teacher do or I wouldn't have taken the considerable effort to write it out or it even occur to me. Everyone gets a couple chances with me as long as no one gets hurt. Sending a kid up for one bad word is proof of a teacher that can't do his/her job.

Not sure where you live OP, but if you live in the US, that kid could get into serious trouble bringing one of those into school. If you know the kid report him to school security and he should be at least suspended for a while, if not, he'll be dealing with the police.
Did the teacher not do anything to the bbgun kid? If she didn't, I would be concerned about school shooters
