I'm assuming you mean a cable car? Cos you wouldn't need a ski lift to go down if you're skiing :P Also that would make the whole "flip flops" thing make a whole lot more sense.

you know an easier way to get to the bottom, would have been SKIing, but riding a ski lift to the top of a mountain and skiing down IS pretty ridiculous i guess, huh?

people people, they have ski jumps that are opened all year and they are in british colombia so their are mountains, so clearly the person was planning on changing out of their flip flops and into skis. or they just wanted to go to the top, look around a bit and then go back down nice and easy you know. or even they might not even had planned on going there but then they saw it and was like hey that seems fun. all you people saying "why would you where flip flops to a mountain" are idiots and clearly have not gone outside in a long time.

I live in BC Canada. They were probably doing the Grouse Grind or in Whistler and no snow here right now its 72 F!!!! We actually get really warm in the summer were on the coast!!!
