Wow, I am truly and honestly offended by that. What should you expect if you're treating another human being like that? He hadn't done anything to you; and who knows - it is possible he could have been using that money he was begging for to restart his life. Whatever you found 'funny' in taunting a man, not a homeless person, but a man, goes to show how cruel and insensitive so many people in today's society are. I'm also really disappointed to see that this happened in my own city. I mean, really. That's not anything to be proud of. Good for the guy who stabbed you in the leg with a pencil! He stood up for himself, and he definitely had a right to. Let's say you ended up on the streets (and no matter how much you deny that it's possible, it could definitely happen, especially based on the way you seem to behave), and you were asking for change, and someone waved money in front of your face, the money you are so desperately trying to save to get your life started again. Would you react calmly? I didn't think so. So next time, before you are an ignorant ass hole to anyone else, think about what you're doing. Put yourself in the other person's shoes. Your life isn't the most important one in the world. You deserved what came to you, and I very well hope you learned your lesson, buddy.
