Today, while I was working my shift at the store, my girlfriend appeared and asked to talk to me. Once we were alone, she burst into tears and started sobbing. Turns out someone's dad died in her favorite TV show and she wanted some comfort. FML

Today, I walked in on my mom drenched in tears, barely able to speak. I ran to get her some tissues and a nice cup of tea to calm her down. After a few minutes of sitting in silence, I asked her if she wanted to talk about what happened. She watched an episode of Gossip Girl. FML

Today, my coworker said that she suddenly got the shivers. I jokingly told her that it meant she must be being watched by a dead person and made stupid ghost noises. She then told me it was the anniversary of her dad's death and burst into tears. FML

Today, I was trying to get drama students to attempt to make themselves cry. I was not having any luck, until suddenly a girl burst into tears, sobbing uncontrollably. I jumped up to applaud, saying what a wonderful thing it is to have such expressive kids. Turns out her grandma just died. FML

Today, I took my girlfriend out for a romantic dinner, since we can't see each other this Valentine's Day. Halfway through, my aunt called, telling me my grandma had died. I had to leave because I was crying so much, leaving my girlfriend with a very pricey bill. FML

I cried pretty hard when Dan shot Keith in One Tree Hill, and when Warrick died in CSI :( That's not something I'd go running to my husband at work for, though.

i do this. im a very emotional person some days. my husband just holds me. yes i realize it's a bit irrational, but i feel better afterwards. you just get invested in books or shows or movirs. nothing wrong with that.

Gotta admit, today when I finished BBC's Sherlock I called my boyfriend because I wanted some comforting I scared him half to death though cause I was crying to hard I could barely talk. Some people can just get really attatched to fictional characters
