Today, while I was working my shift at the store, my girlfriend appeared and asked to talk to me. Once we were alone, she burst into tears and started sobbing. Turns out someone's dad died in her favorite TV show and she wanted some comfort. FML

Today, I walked in on my mom drenched in tears, barely able to speak. I ran to get her some tissues and a nice cup of tea to calm her down. After a few minutes of sitting in silence, I asked her if she wanted to talk about what happened. She watched an episode of Gossip Girl. FML

Today, I was trying to get drama students to attempt to make themselves cry. I was not having any luck, until suddenly a girl burst into tears, sobbing uncontrollably. I jumped up to applaud, saying what a wonderful thing it is to have such expressive kids. Turns out her grandma just died. FML

Both my husband and I cried our eyes out at the death scene in the movie The Descendants. But i think that was probably more to do with telling her daughter. Even so, maybe she was hormonal? hmmm with hormones comes pregnancy???

Let's see, I cried when Alaric "died" in the Vampire Diaries, I cried when Snape died in Harry Potter, I cried when *spoiler alert for hunger games movie fans* Finnick died in Mockingjay, when the dog died in Marley & Me... don't blame her for getting attached to a character, we all do it.
