That is exactly why I hate driving in Australia. They may look all cute and cuddly, but they are very unpredictable and dangerous when they are on the side of the road watching you as you are driving passed.

we have the same kind of story with tourist up here in canada, except with moose, and when you hit one with your car.... you wont wish to see one ever again xD

Sounds like you need to watch where you are going OP.
do you know how quick a roo is? you can be fully alert and bang, you've hit a roo, quite often don't see them until about hslf a second before you hit it
