I know it's hard to look on the bright side when crappy things happen like this but this is a blessing that he's not with you any more. Just remember that you've kept your integrity, whereas he will always be a cheating, untrustworthy person with no morals.

If they get cheated on, yes OP does deserve better. Also- what does whether it was a man/man or man/woman relationship have to do with it anyways? the point is the cheating not sexuality.

Am I the only one who sees that it is entirely possible that he didn't cheat but that he was just saying he had been depressed about being old until he screwed 20 year olds which could have been after they broke up. He didn't say he screwed them when he turned 40. I'm not saying that he didn't cheat either though, as I don't know the whole situation.
