Today, while teaching English in Korea, my boss gave me a birthday present from her and all of my co-workers. It was a really fancy box. It had very nice wrapping. It had a pretty bow. It was kind of heavy. It was 6 bottles of dandruff shampoo. FML

Hmmm. Next time you get a chance, sprinkle some fake snow into their lunch and onto your shoulder and meander around the break room. I'd pay to see the reaction.

because they tried to have dandruff. totally. idiot

6 bottles is really rude. -A- bottle is nice alright.

At least they're trying to help you. Tip: using a vinegar rinse on your hair in the shower every few days helps fight dandruff. (Google it if you don't believe me!) Worked better for me than any dandruff shampoo. A couple of treatments and it was gone.

hahaha i like how this fml ws written.

What a great culture! Here in America if we knew someone with dandruff, we'd just laugh at him for years behind his back and never let him know. In Korea, they say, "You've got a problem, here's the solution. Take care of it." Which culture is better? In this case, I give Korea the win. (When it comes to how we love our dogs, America wins. Here, we love them by scratching their bellies and rubbing their ears; there, they love 'em fried.)

At least it wasn't a six pack of deodorant.

In most Asian countries, recieving any type of soap product is actually a very good gift. You should be glad that you got a gift. And maybe you should research Asian customs before teaching there....

I suppose you could give them all bottles of pubic lice shampoo, but you probably want to keep your job.

Well, that was blunt. But they probably didn't mean it that way. Just looking out for you....
