Today, while working at a hospital, I told a patient to smile for the camera when taking an xray. His response was, "I have Bell's Palsy and haven't smiled in 5 years." FML

Omg. That's sad. I had bells palsy once back in grade school but it only lasted a little over a week... Worst time of my LIFE. My own parents kept calling me two face :/

I feel like you should have been able to tell by looking at them. It's generally pretty noticeable.

If he was just th xray tech then its not like he wouldn't have met the patient. He couldve been talking to them from a distance. & xray rooms are pretty dark, so he wouldn't have been able to tell. Its not your fault op. Just say sorry and be done with it. Its not like you'll ever see them again.
