Today, while working at Kohl's this woman came up to me and asked if I was Native American, I said yes, she then says "Oh! I thought you guys went extinct." This is the country I live in. FML

The majority of my small town high school population was Native American. FYI, for those ignorant ***** out there, Pow-Wows are really fun and Indian tacos (made with fry bread) are the absolute best! If you've never had one, you're really missing out on something special.

I went to college in the 4 Corners region, and have landed back in the north east.. More than the sunny winters, more than the mountains, more than the golden aspens... I would kill for access to a real, honest to goodness Indian tacos.. Those things are like crack. *droool*
