Today, whilst getting out of the shower, I tripped on the lip of the siding, bruising my middle toe. I fell, and in doing so, squished my cat. She won't even make eye contact and keeps wheezing. I have a feeling she is plotting my death. FML

Ashlynnlove tells us more.

I said FML because I feel horrible. And of course I took my cat to the vet. She is fine. No internal bleeding, no punctured lung, no limping. The vet said there was no damage and to be more careful. Trust me, I won't leave the bathroom door cracked open anymore. Just an update.

If she's wheezing, take her to the vet! You can't be dumb enough to think that's the cats "evil laugh".

Why haven't you taken her to the vet?

I've done that. Except my cat sits on the edge of the tub. Take it to the vet if it's wheezing though

if your FML post tomorrow is about your cat dying on you, I'm giving it a big fat YDI.

Actually, I have a feeling she's just accepting her own death rather than plotting yours... poor thing. As others say, make sure she's okay. Getting squished by a human can't be taken lightly

You need to take your cat to the vet asap. She is wheezing cause you in your own words squished her. She may have a punctured lung or broken ribs, internal bleeding..etc

You probably bruised her lung. Take her to the vet ASAP

Your cat was probably already plotting your death anyway, you know how cats are.

If your cat's wheezing, OP, you should probably take her to the vet. You could have done some serious damage.

Agreed! Even if the cat weren't wheezing, avoidance is a clear signal that something is wrong. Take that cat to the vet, OP!
