Today, whilst getting out of the shower, I tripped on the lip of the siding, bruising my middle toe. I fell, and in doing so, squished my cat. She won't even make eye contact and keeps wheezing. I have a feeling she is plotting my death. FML

I said FML because I feel horrible. And of course I took my cat to the vet. She is fine. No internal bleeding, no punctured lung, no limping. The vet said there was no damage and to be more careful. Trust me, I won't leave the bathroom door cracked open anymore. Just an update.

I'm so glad she's okay! This FML had me really worried about a complete stranger's cat. I can't imagine how I would feel if I fell on my cat.

So happy your cat's ok! I don't know how long you've had your cat but I know you can get attached to animals and it just wrecks everything when they die.

One of my cats considers the bathroom to be his domain. He ALWAYS follows, without fail, no matter the occasion. Even when the puppy follows too, whom he hates. :)

My aunts cat likes to sit in the bathroom when people shower because she had asthma and the steam makes her feel better.

even though I hate cats, take your damn cat to the vet op. you don't want to end up on animal cops for your negligence. the cat is clearly injured. serious or not, somethings wrong with it. it was an accident but if you really didn't take your cat to the vet after you heard it wheezing then ydi.
