Today, whilst getting out of the shower, I tripped on the lip of the siding, bruising my middle toe. I fell, and in doing so, squished my cat. She won't even make eye contact and keeps wheezing. I have a feeling she is plotting my death. FML

Ashlynnlove tells us more.

I said FML because I feel horrible. And of course I took my cat to the vet. She is fine. No internal bleeding, no punctured lung, no limping. The vet said there was no damage and to be more careful. Trust me, I won't leave the bathroom door cracked open anymore. Just an update.

If she's wheezing, take her to the vet! You can't be dumb enough to think that's the cats "evil laugh".

Go to the vet now!! If she's wheezing, something's wrong! You could've broken a rib and punctured a lung! Don't wait any longer, go to the nearest pet ER!

how can 18k people think your life sucks? you shouldn't own a cat.

Please, please, PLEASE take your cat to the vet. I fear broken ribs.

Is she hissing or wheezing? A hissing cat could just be scared, but that shouldn't last more than a short while. Wheezing is always bad, and your cat needs to see a vet immediately, as it could be a sign of internal injury or broken ribs damaging the lungs. Even if your cat IS just hissing angrily at you, there's a chance that she's not plotting your death, but hiding and avoiding you because she's in serious pain. Cats are not sweet and cuddly when they're not feeling well, regardless of the cause. I know you didn't do this on purpose, but I think your cat should see a vet right away, if this is anything more than a few minutes of hissing from a scared cat.

I'm actually pissed that you're too dumb to take your poor cat to the vet.

Agreed. Wheezing does not sound like a good thing!

Ouch! There is nothing worse than hurting your pet. Once my mouse had babies and mum put the tank on a poof for a bit and I accidentally knocked the tank over and babies scattered all over the floor! Thankfully they grew up fine and healthy and went to good homes. I don't need to tell you that you need to take her to the vet for a checkup, so far everyone has said that. If you can't afford it.. Well, you should of thought of that before buying a living creature shouldn't ya? I'm glad there is no crazy PETA members abusing you yet, I hope there is not too many on this site lol.

Take it to a vet right stat now! You probably broke your kitty's ribs!!

Why was your cat in the bathroom anyways? Lol. Weird

My boyfriend's Siamese is so obsessed with him that she HAS to be in the bathroom when he is. Always. Some cats are little creepers with boundary issues :P
