Today, yet again, I had to dye my hair brown in advance of the new school year, because my school doesn't allow "unapproved" colors, even if they're natural. FML

What color is your hair naturally? ._.

They can't make you dye your hair... That doesn't make sense or seem right at all. You go to a religious school or something? Which still doesn't make sense considering that's the color God gave you. FYL.

If your hair is natural, they have no legal right to tell you to die your hair, private school or not. Story seems fake, sorry.

Yup. If they think it isn't "natural" they can....my school is the same way. We can't color our hair colors that don't look natural, no facial piercings, and we can't wear anything with stripes. Just solid color polos. Yet we can have tatoos -__- at my old school, girls had to wear skirts. We couldn't wear jeans or shorts or capris. If we did we got sent home

Wait. No stripes? What exactly is so bad about wearing stripes?

OP! Tell us your natural hair color! Whitish-blondish? I'm wondering.

That is absolutely horrible and honestly, a bit racist. SUE.

Discriminatory, yes. Racist, no. Are they even able to sue without getting kicked out of the courthouse and being made a laughingstock? No.

What school are you going to!?!

You're making no sense. Sue the district. That's just ridiculous.

Sparks808 is right they can't force you to dye your hair. You could take this to court. They can't make you dye your hair because they don't like your natural color
