Trick question

Today, my girlfriend asked me if she looked fat in her new pair of jeans. Knowing I was probably about two seconds away from all hell breaking loose, I instinctively tried to save my game, before remembering I wasn't playing a video game. I really need to get a life. FML

Trick/loaded questions are a deal-breaker to me. This means a lack of trust I can't tolerate in a relationship. If I ever get in the OP's situation, she won't get an answer. Instead, I'll be the one glaring at her and giving her a cold shoulder. Who are you? What did you do to my girlfriend? Who are you trying to impress with your looks? For whom are you trying to look pretty, if not for me? You already know what I like you to wear (and I think you look better in a dress than in those ugly jeans you got). You already had my approval, so why are you still feeling hungry for compliments? Am not loving you enough? Am I not enough for you? Is your ego suddenly starting to demand stronger reassurance? When did you become so vain? It's better to stay alone, really, than to have to deal with certain kinds of people.

15 years ago I asked my husband the dreaded " does this dress make me look fat?" He replied " yes, change into something else!" I was speechless and asked him why he would say that?! And his reply was priceless. He said if you don't want my opinion then don't ask me.

I WISH this worked in real life!

Just be honest. If she doesn't look good in them tell her. If she does. Tell her. Don't lie about it BC nobody likes liars

I'd love to get this question, so I can answer "**** yeah, I love it!" But my girlfriend knows she's Miss Piggy.

Oooorrrrr... you could just lie. Idiot.

For crying out loud! I hate that some girls give us such a reputation. Ladies, you don't want to hear the answer, don't ask the question!!! I am happy I can rely on my fiancé's honest opinion when it comes to my clothing or size. I'd rather hear "no this outfit does not suit you anymore", than "yeah that looks pretty" and then you go out wearing something that is unflattering. And I do the same for him. If either of us put on weight, we will tell the other nicely and instead of getting upset, we hit the gym harder and we are more careful with what we eat. No need for drama.

The reply should always be yes, why? "If you get changed I get to see you naked again" :D (gamer boyfriends are the best).

With me, I'm skinny and it's while we're shopping and I'm asking if the cut of my jeans makes my butt look flat. If he says yes, no big deal I'll just try another pair. I don't think it's a big deal.
