Today, while in the hospital recovering from surgery, I got into a fight with my wife. Apparently, she feels that I shouldn’t have gone to the hospital because “Funerals cost less than surgery.” She brought an extremely detailed spreadsheet to prove it. FML

Omg, that's awful. But you know how sometimes people laugh because it's absurd... that was must ridiculously absurd awful thing I've read in a long time. not only on this platform but anywhere.

That's awful! If she is serious you need to rethink your relationship. Instead of supporting you and being there for you she's basically saying it would be much easier if you were dead! That is NOT a loving and supportive person. You deserve someone who will care for you and stand by you and put your well being first!! You need to get away from this toxic person as soon as possible. She is completely insensitive to you and not only toxic but scaredy. You can find and deserve someone much better!!
