Today, I was reminded that while I have a nice waist, bum and boobs, I'm unspeakably ugly. I was walking down the street when a guy wolf-whistled from behind me, and when I turned around, he visibly recoiled in disgust. FML

Maybe you just weren't his type? Who cares what he thinks anyway OP!

Hdi for wolf-whistling to begin with. The hell with that guy.

I feel awful that you describe yourself as unspeakably ugly. I don't think I've ever seen a person that I would describe in that way except for people who have done awful things and that would describe their soul or heart not their outside. Look at yourself with love and if it makes you feel better seek help with things that will make you feel pretty like a change in hair and makeup but love yourself no matter what

Very sorry for the way you were treated, peace and love

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I don't think I'm very attractive but I've been married twice (still in the second). You just need to find the right guy. Maybe go get a make over to help you feel more attractive.

Well, with reading half these comments, I agree with both those who say find a way to love who you are now- no matter what you look like; and those who say with some make up tips and tricks you might be better off, or if it is in your means and beliefs you can turn to cosmetic surgery if you're face is really unsatisfactory *to you* ~and that is the biggest part, if YOU are unhappy with it, you may find ways to improve yourself, but don't do it because other people tell you you don't have a pretty mug ;)

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder holding whether he's holding onto your boobs, waist or bum.

Maybe he thought you were somebody he knew and got embarrassed when u turned around.
