he might have needed administrator rights to fix it. since two "specialists" already came, i would let them work and then maybe apply for it position if i felt capable after seeing how "pros" do it

this doesn't make sense. you said you couldn't fix it and when you called someone to fix it and they couldn't....you showed them how to fix it?
It says "I told my boss I COULD fix it...." And the boss wouldn't let OP try to fix it.

How do they have a point? She offered to fix the problem because she knew how, but her supervisor insisted that she call the IT technician...who, I assume, then spent two hours attempting to fix the computer. Upon the tech's failure she showed them how to fix it, and then the boss claims she wasted two hours...

Why did you even tell your boss in the first place? Just fix it, if you can. And if you knew what was wrong, why didn't you just tell the IT people when you called them. "Hey this is what's wrong with my computer. Come fix it, because Boss told me not to."
Well, they did not deserve you as an employee then.
