Value

Today, I got home from work to find my wife asleep in her easy chair with my two year old son asleep in a pile of torn-up paper. I soon found out it was my 1960s collection of a Superman comic book series that I inherited from my dad. It was worth well over $2,000. FML

Perfect use of the word WAS. Who leaves valuables within a child's reach? Oh, never mind you do! YDI.

Anything a 2-year old can reach is game to be broken/torn/eaten. If it was valuable you certainly needed it out of reach. On a separate issue,if your wife is too tired to stay awake with the child or he is waking without waking your wife then the kid needs to be in a play-pen or sleeping in a cot so that he can't get hurt while she sleeps.

Wait 5 years then beat the shit out of him for it.

A two minutes silence is much needed ...... Dude, my condolences.

Hmmm, expensive comic... Let's leave it within reach of a child... Jack ass, Ydi...

How do you know it was left within reach of him? The wife may not know/appreciate the value and gave it to the child to stop him crying.

he's two years old.do you honestly expect him to know better?

Wow I guess ur son hated superman then lol

I thought you might stop at " inherited from my dad." The setimental value is more valuable than the monetary value...
