Value

Today, I got home from work to find my wife asleep in her easy chair with my two year old son asleep in a pile of torn-up paper. I soon found out it was my 1960s collection of a Superman comic book series that I inherited from my dad. It was worth well over $2,000. FML

what the op probably didn't mention was that she was told the value of the comics when they got together and they were in there room and she should have simply shut the door to the room. but seriously if you think that its just the mom that's tired men are equally or more tired depending on if the wife is a stay at home.

Now they are worth a lot less than $2,000.

im not voting bc i dont know the circumstances but that shouldnt be in the child's reach. it should be put away. and your wife should know the value of it as well.

I would have woke up your wife and screamed at her 1st because she takes your things without asking you 2nd because she let your son destroy it.. Im sure shes a nice girl but i would be really pissed...

I'm sure screaming at someone is a good way to get the destroyed item back. Nothing can be done about it now. Lesson learned the hard way.

Some people just never understand the value of "junk", as they'd put it.

YDI: "Keep out of reach of children." :D FYL for the comics being torn up and your wife being lazy. Sorry, OP. :(

If you knew it was worth so much money then why leave it somewhere that it can be easily accssed? Thats just asking for it to be ruined. ydi...

They say silence is golden. In this case about $2000. Maybe u shold not have something that is worth so much were a 2 year old can get it.
