Value

Today, I got home from work to find my wife asleep in her easy chair with my two year old son asleep in a pile of torn-up paper. I soon found out it was my 1960s collection of a Superman comic book series that I inherited from my dad. It was worth well over $2,000. FML

Easy fix. Just have Superman fly around the earth backwards to turn back time before the comic was destroyed. See? Easy

It's better than my dads situation. He had several collection when he was younger, had them put away so they would get thrown out or messed up and his mom (for no reason) went through his room and threw them all out. All of them. Said she didn't see why a boy should collect comics...every once in a while he finds price magazines and looks em up. I coulda been wealthy. damn women.

Do the same with her purses and shoea

I would have cried. I'm in love with Superman

Half the people posting on this FML must not have kids. OP should have kept his "valuable" comic collections in a protective case or somewhere his child couldn't reach. As far as the mother is concerned, she could have prevented it from happening by keeping a close eye on her son but then again being a parent is hard work. There are no breaks because it's a 24/7 job. It's harder to be a stay at home mom than a single working human being.

Probably should have kept it somewhere the kid couldn't get to. YDI.

My comics are in my attic. Never leave anything you care about around children until they are at least in high school. By the time you go to the bath room it van be destroyed.
