Today, I woke up with a electric dog collar on my neck. I wouldn't have noticed it until my stepfather turned the collar to the highest intensity just to wake me up. FML

Everyone is so quick to make assumptions. If you two get along really well then its a pretty funny prank (even if its a little over the top). If not then you need to tell someone like your mother or cops, Personally i dont like asking for help so id find a way to make him think twice next time. My mums bf used to be a complete ass to me until i had enough and put his head through a window. Now he doesnt talk to me or come near me and its great :)

The initial comment got removed because I wanted to provide a URL. Just Google "villieria garage explosives". I lived 3 blocks away and slept through that blast after an all nighter (I was 20 then). 3km further away people's swimming pools and windows were cracked.

Maybe OP is a heavy sleeper, so she wouldn't wake up at feeling a collar being put on her.

Touch someone's neck for about 10-15 seconds. That's one hell of a heavy sleeper that doesn't wake up to being touched.

And, honestly, the point is they didn't wake up, so they were either drugged, which makes the step-dad even worse, or they're a heavy sleeper. Either way, again, the point is they didn't wake up. It does not make it OP's fault whatsoever just because they didn't wake up.
