I think this is an FML because... emptying a water bottle on someone? Seriously? I'd expect this to be a younger sibling doing it to an older one, not a parent to their kid. Also, people should note that OP never said they ALWAYS got up late. This could be the first time it's happened. None of us know.

You DO need to go to school. You need to learn the correct way to use quotation marks. If I said my four-year-old "helped" me make dinner it's implying that he did NOT really help.

um, to those of you giving advice on the use of quotation marks, there is another use other than implying irony. quotation marks are also used to show that something is a direct quotation.... (note the ellipses here is being used to indicate my voice trailing off, indicating irony, and not the traditional use indicating something has been elided)

Won't sleep late again? Actually being late is a terrible habit and shows complete disrespect. Doubt that you are late in meeting your friends for fun stuff. If you are you most likely have the rep of a "he may show up late" dickwad. And it will also get you fired from a job pretty quickly too. Good lesson learned.

I'm really not seeing what's so bad about this. My mum throws cats at me to wake me up. Water is unpleasant sure but I bet it did the trick. Your life isn't ******. Get up for school next time.
