It's not as bad as it sounds. Don't let what others' think a about you, bother you. Age is just a number. My Dad is 18 years older than my Stepmom. At first it bothered me, but after I saw how in love they were, their age didn't matter anymore. To he honest, my opinion didn't matter either, and neither does your co-workers!

44--- My Step-mom was a consenting adult when they met, so how does that mean jail time? 131-- I'm going to just go with a wild guess that if she was 6 years younger than him when they met, she is STILL 6 years younger than him now... :] Also, I definitely meant to say "to BE honest." Not he. ;]

My mom and dad are 27 years apart and it's completely fine. I don't see why age should ever be a problem with any relationship unless it's like a 13 year old girl with a 30 year old man.
