Meh, don't worry about it. As long as you're both over 18, age doesn't really matter. As long as you're happy! My uncle is actually 20 years older than my aunt and they are very happy together.

They're just jealous. I was 28 and my SO was 18 when we met. We've been not-married to each other for nearly 20 years now. Giggity.

It's been my experience that, as long as the woman is over 18 and people know it, men tend to get more high fives and less crap about dating a younger women than do women. It seems many men want such a thing, although I've noticed that they tend to change their minds and only want a weekend or one night stand with a younger woman once they've met people in that situation ("Honey, what's 'Deliverance?'" was probably not the best way for my first conversation with my brother in law).

Who cares OP? You must have known youd get some stick for the age difference. If you act like it bothers you it will just egg em on. My partner is 45, i am 2. Yeah we get a few looks once in a while but who cares. We didnt plan on it, it just happened and we are happy. Let haters hate.
