Today, I accidentally bumped into the fire alarm which set off a high pitched buzzing noise that could be heard throughout the entire dorm. It went on for at least two hours and none of the technicians could figure out how to turn it off. All the girls on my floor are mad at me. FML

sounds like BS. there's no way the fire department wouldn't have been there within minutes and not known how to shut it off, considering they're the ones who inspect it yearly.

The fire department might have been called and told it was a false alarm. That's what we were told to do if we set the alarm in the building off my freshman year. Granted, the alarm got tripped A LOT.
