Weird request, but OK

By sigh - This FML is from back in 2012 but it's good stuff - United States - Medford

Today, my daughter told me that when she dies, she'd like her ashes spread on her laptop. FML

And this is one of the many reasons why technology is taking over our lives.

That actually sounds a little awesome

haha. "click like if you are missing her. comment to say your few words. a funeral app is being made to symbolize this ancient tradition. message your requests for an invite to the app. RIP."

Your lucky she didn't specifically say to open a link, cough cough

When you make a joke, it should also make some semblance of sense. Just throwing out Internet lingo doesn't automatically make it funny.

Why didn't you bring her outside? Hikes, walks, sports.. Hell, anything outdoors would be fine. But you choose to leave her alone with laptop. Be an active parent....

I agree. Parenting has a lot to do with this FML. It's one thing to let your kid use the computer, but a problem to let it become the center of their life. Hopefully she lives long enough to discover the real joys in life and finds something truly meaningful to love.

I'd have to agree as well that parenting is the core issue here. The OP deserves it for raising this child or more specifically not actively raising this girl.

Sounds like a voodoo ritual to me.

Great idea! So nobody else can use it! Plus why would anyone want to use it?

You *could* still use it--just wipe her off first. :)
