Today, I was in a car crash. While I was being immobilised by the paramedics to be taken to the nearest hospital, the passenger of the other car, who didn't have a single scratch, touched my shoulder and said, "It doesn't matter, nobody got hurt." FML

Today, a car hit me. I didn't get hurt, but someone called 911. The old woman who had hit me got out of the car with no problem to look at me, and gets back into the car. When the police arrive, she pulls out crutches and said I made strange faces and made her hit me. I got blamed. FML

Today, I was involved in a car accident. I wasn't the driver of either car. I happened to be a passerby that was hit by a falling stop sign as a car hit it. FML

Today, after rolling my car on the highway, I witnessed several people stop and get out of their cars to take pictures. No one asked if I was okay, and I was the one who had to call 911 for myself. FML

Today, I accidentally bumped into another car on the road. The worst of the damage was a slight chip to the other driver's paint, but she played it up so much that she ended up being taken away in an ambulance. I'm now terrified that the crazy bitch is going to sue me. FML

Today, I was sent to the hospital after being hit by a car while on my bicycle. The police officer said it was my fault for not looking, even though the car pulled up without looking. I now have a small herniated disc in my neck and abrasions on my thigh. FML

Oh, sure, you're on a stretcher being prepped for transport to the hospital, but nobody got hurt. Clearly the passenger of the other car is a moron. I hope you're okay now, OP.

This makes sense if the accident was the OP's fault. By reassuring him that nobody not at fault was hurt, he's saying the OP isn't liable for injuries on top of damage. If the OP wasn't at fault, or if fault was shared, then it's jerkish.

Op here. Thank you for the support, first of all. I am OK, just got hurt by the seat belt, but my car is trash, unfortunately. It was not my fault nor was it shared. The other driver didn't care to stop at a Stop sign and I crashed right into their car, didn't even have time to brake. I wasn't able to tell her anything but don't worry, my boyfriend told her some good ones.
