Who am I?

Today, after being with the company for over 3 years, I realised nobody really knows my name. This was after my boss was walking around a new staff member and couldn't introduce me. Neither could my colleague, who's been sitting next to me for the last 6 months. FML

Well it just looks like you need to be more outgoing! Go introduce yourself to people! Make friends!

That's sad, I can't decide if you deserve this for being anti social or all your coworkers and boss suck donkey dong. Regardless , being a little more social couldn't hurt but I find it a thin line between causal business talk and knowing too much about someone's personal life .

Being anti-social isn't bad. Some people enjoy being left alone. Im an observer. I watch people's interactions and body language to learn who they are.

Tell different people different names to mess with them.

If only your parents had named you Hashtag or Northwest...

Well, at least when you go home everyone knows you, right ap? Wait a minute ap is associated press. What's your name again?

You must keep to yourself at work then, I'm so out going that people almost have to know my name so they can tell me to stop talking. XD (obvs jk) but I do talk a lot.

People might have also been shy around you because they feel bad asking your name after so long. Post your name in a very visible spot on the outside of your cubicle or work area.

Many work places with cubicles have the employee's name on the outside wall of the cube. Move your name plate, if you haven't already done that, and put out a bowl of candy.

Put a bowl of good candy on your desk so people will walk by and say hello. When you're setting it up, give a few pieces to your neighbors and tell them about the candy and to stop by anytime.
