If you are so out of it when you are woken up like that that you can't remember why there's a cat in your house, maybe it's best not to do anything until you're actually in full control of your brain. Also, if you have that big of memory issues when you first wake up, you might want to consider that you have some sort of sleep disorder. And I'm not just pulling that out of my ass, my husband has been dealing with similar problems for over 20 years and just recently found a doctor who was able to fix them.
Most people with these problems write themselves notes and set alarms to keep everything straight. Plus, people with a support system generally have someone willing to help out.
I'm sorry, but I can't resist. I guess you're in trouble meow.
Hopefully the cat comes back.
WOW! You never go full retard!!!
Don't worry OP, when I first got my cat, it ran away for 2 weeks before returning home safe & sound. If it's an indoor/outdoor cat, then it'll probably be back soon. I would be more concerned if it was strictly an indoor cat.
Did you not even stop for a second and put some thought into why a cat was in your house when you don't own one??? Like seriously dude!! How often do you wake up with random pets in your place?? You sir, are a ******* moron!! YDI!!!
He should come back...just doing a little exploring...if not you are screwed OP
If I was your sister I'd probably hate you or at the least hold a grudge against you forever. Maybe I just love my pets a lot, but to me losing a pet is as heartbreaking as losing any family member. Although I'm wondering why your immediate reaction was to kick it out of your house without considering, "Hm, where did this random cat come from? How did it get in?" I hope you find her cat before she gets back and I hope she never trusts you with something alive again.

So some strange pet comes into your house and you nonchalantly kick it out. No confusion, no wondering where it came from, no looking for original owners, etc... Don't own pets.
Guess the cats out of the bag now...or rather out of the house....I'll see myself out
