In one month, I will be 48 years old. I got knocked up (through condoms) at 16. Let me tell you how it is from HER point of view. She's still a child, not able to take care of her own self yet, much less another human being. I was already 15.8 weeks when we found out so for my own conscience, that was entirely too late or I *would* have aborted. I wanted to give him up for adoption as I *knew* I was not ready to be a mother. I was still in high school, just trying to pass my courses. My mother would not let me. I spent most of my life resenting both my child and my mother for not letting me do what was right by *me* and being able to secure a solid future before procreating (not that I planned to).
