Apple juice, ************

By Anonymous - 05/11/2012 17:01 - United States - Silver Spring

Today, at daycare, a little girl cussed me out because I didn't have any apple juice left. When I called her parents, they sided with her and cussed me out too. My boss refused to sympathize, and reprimanded me for not making sure we still had apple juice. FML

Wow some kids are so spoiled. It's worse when the parents do nothing about it.

Her parents will regret it when she becomes a teenager.

If making such a big fuss about apple juice as a child, imagine what the fuss will be about when older.

Yeah saw that. My phone's a little bit slow on updating didn't see 11's comment until it was too late

24 She will demand for 13 and pregnanyt... whoo hoo for the next generation.

11 - I doubt they'll regret it. If their kid remains an effin brat, they'll probably blame it on teachers/their kid's friends/television/anyone but themselves.

45 - there's a difference between being spoiled and a ****

They should quit as they tell the parents their kid is a spoiled brat, and can't get everything they'll ever want. The earlier in life that's taught, the easier it is to get used to at least some disappointment in life.

2, parents were doing worse than nothing about it. They were supporting it and reinforcing the behavior. That child has my sympathies, because it has idiot parents that are setting it up for failure in the future. Also, OP, FYL.

I pay more for childcare monthly than I do for rent, so I would also be pissed if my daughter's daycare didn't provide the service for which I literally work an entire week of the month to pay for...

They ran out of Apple juice once and you would cuss them out, 146? shame on you.

Happy to say that mine will be raised to be a member of society, not a menace! Kids wouldnt be hurt by a little punishment now and then for misbehavior!

I dont think you should be teaching anything. Your grammar is horrendous

I agree,in my little brothers school they made it a rule that no matter what the kids do,they can't be spanked.smh

70- spanking is illegal here, even done by the parents. I'd be horrified if a teacher did it! And banned as it should be, why should violence ever be used as punishment? Its barbaric and doesn't teach the kid anything. Detentions, extra homework or just a damn good telling off should be plenty of punishment for any kid!

79- I must ask, do you have a child of your own? If not, then leave parenting advice on discipline to those that have children.

perdix 29

#3, sorry, but you are wrong. Most little kids don't like Lady Gaga.

In Texas if the parents give written permission teachers can spank kids. But it's a lot funny when the parents come and do it them selves

81- Parents can do what they want as long as its within the law. Teachers however have no right to exercise that kind of punishment on a child! I don't have to have kids to know that.

It's not just these days, shitty parenting had always been around.

What the hell?? This could go either way, depending on if it was your job to monitor grocery items at the daycare. Either way, definitely doesnt deserve the cursing and rudeness shown. Some people shouldnt breed.

It'd be nice if everyone took a chill pill. It'd be even better if some of them choked on it.

I don't want to live on this planet anymore...

You're free to leave anytime, friend. Just keep a watch out for the next shuttle headed to the moon.

Seems like the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.

Thats why we have to go to Mars.

Seriously...what kind of world do we live in where you can't get apple sauce?? People these days

TheDrifter 23

No apple juice? That's just unacceptable. Someone from the naptime juice procurement division had better get fired over this or heads will roll.

I for some reason doubt you laughed out loud at that. And I can guarantee you none of us did.

Ugh...people can be so rude and unsympathetic. Even if you should've had more apple juice, that doesn't mean you deserve to be cussed out, especially from a kid.

A kindergartener at that. I mean what the hell a 4-5 year old cussing?

CallMeMcFeelii 13

I wish when I was in kindergarten we had apple juice. We'd only ever have whole milk or chocolate milk. But some parents swear in front of their kids thinking they won't catch on. Even a 4 year old will start mimicking their parents. Seeing as the parents swore at OP, my guess is they don't try to censor their language in front of their child.

I'd much rather have chocolate milk then apple juice. Can't stand the stuff. Besides you really can't beat a nice glass of orange juice.

The apple (juice) doesn't fall far from the tree.

I wish you could like a comment more than once :)

#17, you can like that comment as many times as you want. If you want to thumb it up multiple times, make a bunch of FML accounts and do so. You'd have to really, really like a comment to go through the hassle.

LiterOfCola 16

I've thought about that so many times I always imagine if a group of people made like 500 accounts, made terrible comments, and thumbed them up 500 times. It would be tumult.

There's a way to do that with fake-account-making programs called bots, but I'm not computer savvy enough to know how. And it also wouldn't work on my iPhone, unless maybe it was jailbroken, which again I wouldn't know how to do.
