I'm pretty sure the mom won. In my house, the arguments are usually won by the women, simply because they are relentless. It sucks, really.

In my house it's the opposite, my dad always wins because he is too stubborn. He will go on for hours about how the world is a triangle, if that's what he thinks, and no matter how much evidence you show to prove him wrong, he still is "always right."

Thumb this how you will, but I am really curious to know whether the winner of this argument was pro finger or pro thumb.

Who else has a dad that likes to here himself yell

Well, I eventually persuaded them that a thumb isn't a finger. A thumb is ACTUALLY the penis you were born with, but the doctors usually cut it off and replace it with a middle finger. Hence the phrase "**** you."

I, personally have ten fingers and ten toes. I've always thought of it as a finger. It's just a special kind of finger.

It's a finger. It has same structure as the other fingers. It just starts lower on the hand. Right by the wrist.
