Damn, I didn't expect this to get posted at all. For starters, I am half Jewish and look like a version of Anne Frank with frizzier hair and a broken nose. As for the whole situation, with a liquidation sale, there are absolutely no returns or exchanges of any kind at the location I work at. The "customers" I was serving were a foul mouthed, belligerent couple who are the kinds of people that make you hate people. They had at least $500 worth of returns that we could not process and despite myself, my department manager, and the store manager explaining that they could not return items at this location because of the liquidation status, they still remained belligerent and hell bent on not driving a half hour to the nearest alternate location, and after I politely apologized and explained that they could go to the next available location which would promptly give them a refund, the **** of a wife spat "well you can just promptly go back to Auchwitz" and then the dick of a husband joined in and repeated the aforementioned statement, which then prompted an old man at the register next to mine to chime in with his antisemitic comments. This resulted with mall security being called and having to escort the belligerent couple and the old man off the premises.

Hey! it's the OP posting. I'm very surprised this got posted. Here is some information about the fml/my job. 1) We had a health inspector come last week and our place passed the exam. We are actually a very clean place. 2) The bug problem is being taken care of. There are traps all over the place and a pest control guy is coming in soon. Bugs are very hard to get rid of. Once eggs are laid, they will stay there forever. And the place used to be a KFC. 3) We barely see the bugs actually crawling around. That's a reason why I screamed, it was my first time actually seeing one. 4) Bugs do not go in the drinks or food. Customers watch me make their lattes, pour their coffee, heat their wraps, etc. 5)Even if the health inspector didn't come, if I was to complain and the place shut down- me and all my coworkers would lose our income. Also, typically every food place has their dirty secrets like this. Welcome to the food industry. 4) I am only 16 years old, however I need this job. I can't afford to quit. I pay my cell phone bill and majority of my necessities, and I am saving up for university. 5) I have been looking for a new job for a few months. I am handing out resumes constantly at malls and applying online. It's not easy... especially because I'm a part time student with little experience. The moment I have another job, I will give my two weeks notice in. And also, this experience was horrifying. I screamed so loud I startled the customers. I hate bugs. Once I was finished serving the customer I ran to the bathroom, got the bug off me, and then adjusted my pants so I could tuck them into my boots. I appreciate all the comments and the funny jokes!

Wow, didn't realise this would get so much attention so quickly. Thanks guys! Not suprised that this has stirred a debate on breast feeding as a whole though... To clarify, my boss has recently had a child (duh!) and has therefore been on maternity leave. This is the first time she's come back to work. I actually work in a research lab, and so my boss gathered myself and a few of my coworkers (a doctor and a PhD student) together in an office to discuss the progress of our research since she's been absent. I didn't mind having the meeting, I didn't mind that the kid was there too, and I definitley didn't mind her having to feed the child (nor do I ever mind when any woman has to do this, but especially in this case because she asked us all if it was OK to feed her before doing anything). But I have never had to work so hard on maintaining eye contact in my life! Awkward!
