Blaisey tells us more.
Hey guys, OP here. I talked to my landlord about my roommate a few hours ago. She's a very sweet older lady, and she was in tears when I told her what happened. My roommate now has 48 hours to get out. I took Paprika to the vet right away, and they said she'll most likely survive, but it's possible she'll have brain damage. She woke up in the car on the way there (after a good ten minutes of not moving, I was so afraid she didn't make it) but they gave her something to make her sleep for awhile. Thank you all for your support!

It's time OP's roommate walked into a doorknob. >:(
This needs a follow up. How is the kitten???
I seriously hope it was a toy kitten.
#146 are you a special kind of stupid?
Or an eye-level coat hook.
Highly doubt it.
youve got to be kitten me
135 Go **** yourself
stop thumbing that comment down right meow
... except love
Damnit you beat me to it.
#187 - No.
Dude, not a time for a pun....
Too soon...
Is it ok?
No, it's not OK to hit a kitten with a pan.
Dumbass
pretty sure they were joking. god, the people of fml are assholes sometimes.
You need a new roommate.
28, Your comment made me sad. :(
That's an understatement...if someone did that to any of my pets, they'd be lucky to be left alive.
sadly, kittens skulls are not that fortified..
You don't say...
You should hit her over the head with a pan.
Honestly, I like my pets more than I like most people, so this would be my first course of action in the heat of the moment. Calling the cops and getting the roommate arrested would be the smart choice, however.
I would suggest hitting the roommate with the pan, calling the police and saying he threatened to hit your head with the pan after he hit the kitten so it was purely self defence, best of both worlds.
I like the way you think
If the police don't do it on their own, then you can also tell them that they should run some drug tests on your roommate. That way they'll not believe a single word your roommate says and instead assume that you're telling the truth, no matter what you say. It's usually a bad thing that many people, cops included, completely drop all credibility that they have for other people once they learn a single bad thing about them, but for it to have a positive use for once? Unexpected, to say the least.
**** a pan. Grab a cinder block!
**** that, grab an axe.
nah, a shovel...and some quicklime.
Dobby? Is that you? (CF HP7) Honestly, I am shocked of your roommate reaction but at the same time, she (or he) clearly needs help I did not live that awful moment so I don't know how I would have reacted but now, with a calm head (yes, I read the follow-up) I would tell her or take her (after taking care of the cat, obviously) to a place that takes care of drug addicts
Do the same to your room mate... I hope your cats alright.
That maybe the greatest idea ever.
Is your kitten OK?
OMG!!! Is your kitty ok?????
Keywords
Oh gosh! is your kitten ok?
You should hit her over the head with a pan.
