Ain't nobody got time for that

Today, at work, a customer called in and asked me to read off every item on our menu, along with their ingredients. I work at Jamba Juice so that's a lot of reading. After about 10 minutes of this, I found out it was actually my stupid co-worker calling from the back phone. FML

Tell your stupid boss that your coworker doesn't have enough work to do.

@Anyone Who Said Hang Up, Thats the most dumb thing to do in that situation cause it'd be ur #1 ticket to being fired. FYL for having to not be able to chance it

i love Jamba Juice....sucks that there aren't any near base

You should've directed them to that magical place known as THE INTERNET.

You should have said "No, I'm not doing that". It's not like the guy on the other line would know who you were if they were an actual customer.

I would've asked why the person over the phone needed to know and I would te them to look online cause "I'm workinng". While apparently your coworker was not. Fail.

Hahahhahahahahah! High five to your friend. It wouldn't be a low-end job without pranks! My friend and I loved pulling shit on each other and the rest of the staff, and prank calls were but one of those things.

haha, thats awesome. sucks that you fell for it, but props to the friend for the joke. lol I gotta remember that one for one of my co-workers.

No, **** that, even if it was a legit customer I'd tell their lazy ass to come in.

Well, you can at least take comfort in the fact that you're a good employee. Most people would just tell the customer to go screw themselves.
