Alexa play "More than this" by Roxy Music

By bagpipesrkmywrld - This FML is from back in 2009 but it's good stuff - United States

Today, my most difficult task at work was three hole punching a 500-page document so somebody could put it in a binder on their shelf and not read it. I have a $150,000 education. FML

Just goes to show you that an expensive education does not equal super-awesome-job. :P

so let me get this straight. You went to school for a couple more years then you had to, paid a lot of money for it, and in the end, you get a worse job then the high school drop out. I am currently in school. What a wonderful future ahead lol congrats on the f'ed up life

That just means you don't know how to network. Get professional connections while you're in college people! Seriously!

You deserved it, for falling into the false sense of security that going to college would make your life perfect, and that you would get whatever you want if you had a degree.

So you paid a lot for college. What do you earn? That's the critical piece of info you left out. Lots of people have no job. Lots of people bust their asses for low pay. Even if you're getting low pay, at least you're not killing yourself for it. Hell, lots of people would love to have any job. More would love to have one so cushy. In summary, be more optimistic and don't bitch about what you have the ability to change. Hate your job? Freshen your resume and start looking.

You have a job in the middle of the worst recession in 80 years. Shut up.

#27... addicted2hotpink. Is it not better to try to do something about his situation than just whining? It may be harder to find a job right now, but at least the OP would be actively seeking improvement.

Money isn't everything. Both ways. :)
