Damn, FYL i feel so bad for you, there is no way you could ever deserve this. i hate it when my family cheks my artworks and sketchbooks as i always get comments like ''OMG he/she has no clothes it MUST be ****!'' ''OMG it dosn't seems so happy make him/het a smile NOW!!'' ''OMG there's blood/violence/weapons it's innapropriate!!'' ''OMG he/she has a tatoo/piercing D:< '' and so on... Btw you just reminded me thay lately some of my artworks have been dissapearing, and those were really good and not nude ones, i hope my family has a really good reason to have abducted them or else i'll rage like hell.

My sympathy, I'm an artist myself but I had the opposite problem. My mother used to rip up my illustrations and cartoons because they weren't "fine art" and "drawings from nude models." so I know how you feel.

Ugh, I hate parents like that. Nudity doesn't equal ****. Some parents need to stop acting as if their children will never see the naked body in their lives. I'm glad my parents don't do that. I don't really draw nudity, but my parents tease me about drawing naked men and **** all the time. Hell, if I showed them any anatomy sketches, they'd just tease me for awhile before critiquing it. Some of the world's best art is nude. Some parents need to loosen up. I feel for ya, OP, 'cause if my family ever tossed out any sketches that I didn't want tossed out, I'd be extremely pissed.

This reminds me of a person I know who, for a nude project in his art school, drew censor bars over the genitalia. Undoubtedly, the instructor was annoyed with it, and gave him an F. I don't know why nudity is considered offensive. I mean, you can see peoples arms, legs, and face. These are all body parts, just as the genitals are, so why are they viewed as offensive? Think about times way before modern civilization as we knew it. People walked around naked all the time. Was there anything wrong with it back then? No. So I don't see why there should be anything wrong with it now.

Pawn off one of your mother's favorite jewelry pieces, preferably anyhting with a diamond if possible and chastise her for supporting the black market diamond trade.
