Luckily, that shit is illegal in my country. Firing a woman fot being pregnant carries a very hefty fine here.
She wasn't fired for being pregnant, she was fired for not showing up to work on time. ...and that's how easily the employer can beat that case.
Hopefully some detal was let out. As posted I side with the boss. I can see needing to go home and change, clean up, and call in to say why you're late. I can see if you were sick beyond random pregancy vomitting that you would need to call in for a sick day. But as posted it reads like you had one of those weird random pregancy hurls, got upset and couldn't deal with it, decided you weren't going to work for the day and just went home without checking in with anyone else. I couldn't blame your boss for being really leery of wanting to put up with that for six more months.
You need to sue them for wrongful termination.

One, have they been made aware that you were pregnant before this incident? Two, did you tell them that you needed a personal day due to feeling sick with vomiting and all? I ask because if they were aware that you were pregnant, and they were informed that you felt sick, they can be sued. If you've even seen Horrible Bosses movie, it was made pretty clear that you can't fire a pregnant woman or there could be lawsuits.
You know what to do, sue that ****** for wrongful termination!
